QuizCraic collects as little as it can.

Players

Players give a team name and, optionally, a table number - nothing else. No account, no email, no tracking. The phone stores a random token so it can rejoin its team. While a question is open, the page notes if it's left (the “cheat radar”); that's a count shown to the quizmaster, nothing more.

Organisers

Account holders give a name, email and password (stored hashed). Paid plans are handled by Stripe, who hold the card details - we never see them. Fundraiser registrations collect a team name, a contact name and a phone number or email, which only the organiser of that event can see.

AI rounds

When you ask for an AI round, the theme you type is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write the questions. No player data is ever sent.

Cookies

One cookie keeps organisers logged in. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and everything in it to be deleted, at any time - just get in touch. We act as a data controller under the GDPR for account data and as a processor for the registration details organisers collect.
